Senior Management Staff

David Cominsky, President & CEO, founded EMS in April 1996. David has 27 years of experience professionally developing information systems, working with more than 75 organizations in a direct, hands-on consulting capacity. David has been developing enhancements and modifications to large information systems since 1982 and has a wide range of computing platform experience including UNIX, DOS, AS/400, and Novell. EMS has been providing programming and implementation services to the health care industry since its inception. David attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and has extensive technical training in computer languages and operating systems.

David Pontrello, Vice President, brings to EMS over 20 years of professional development experience in healthcare and general business consulting.  David has an MBA in Finance and Information Systems and has worked in diverse roles including CIO, CFO, Business Process Improvement Director, and has been in charge of developing new business models for several companies throughout his career. 

Eric Schuyler, Director, Application Development has 25 years of experience in system architecture design, software development, and hardware development and support. Eric designs and manages all VB programming development projects; he is proficient using Visual Basic (VB), C, SQL, ASP, JavaScript and a variety of microprocessor assembly languages. Eric is also experienced using VB and COM to develop data collection, real-time process control, and database front-end/back-end applications. Prior to joining EMS, Eric was employed at Moore Interactive, Praxair, Inc., and Comptek Research in program management capacities. Eric is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has completed a series of continuing education programs.

Mary Clark, Director of BBx Development, has more than 23 years of extensive development experience and heads up the company's BBx and BBj development efforts. Mary was a development team leader for GTE Data Services, performed Basic IV development for Computer Task Group, and served as Executive Project Leader for the Carborundum Company. Mary holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Buffalo.
