EMS Insights can handle large datasets with hundreds of thousands of service lines. Very large datasets may take longer to load and filter.

No, EMS Insights works completely offline. All processing happens on your computer. No data is sent to external servers for HIPAA compliance and data security. An internet connection is only needed for email for initial license activation

Yes. EMS Insights runs entirely on your computer—no cloud storage or external transmission. Your 835 files and analysis data never leave your computer. This local processing helps meet HIPAA requirements. The software does not collect, store, or transmit any patient or payment data externally.

EMS Insights validates 835 file structure during loading. If a file fails to load, check that it’s a valid 835 EDI file (X12 835 format). Corrupted or improperly formatted files may not load. The application may show error messages indicating what went wrong. Contact support for any 835 loading issues.

Large 835 files (50,000+ service lines) may take time to load. The application shows progress indicators. Very large files (100,000+ rows) can take several minutes. This is normal. Once loaded, filtering and analysis should be fast.
